The Uranium issue will never go away IMO. There will always be folks that oppose Uranium, and they will continue to use scaremongering tactics to turn the general population against uranium mining. Thats difficult for the company to address on their own. Not sure the general population would believe the companies' argument that uranium can be mined safely unfortunately. Definitely needs a supportive government IMO and that's what is missing ATM. In fact, it's a very hostile government. That could change in the future, but certainly not guaranteed and presents huge risk for the company. I believe the current coalition government will see out the remainder of the term which means waiting for the next election in 2025 and hoping that Siumut win majority of votes. But even then, there's no certainty the project will go ahead. If it's not a popular decision in the public's mind to continue with the project, the politicians will do whatever gets them the votes IMO. A referendum on uranium may even be held to settle the issue once and for all.

Regarding IA always opposing uranium mining, that in itself is not the position they are relying on. Not sure if you have read the GoG decision on the exploitation license application, but it appears the company was not entitled to an exploitation license as per the exploration license addendum. Appears the GoG has a good case IMO.
