Nothing much to see here, except
- a major long term investor and LNG users thinks that Scarborough will work OK, and is a fair investment
- WDS gets some cash to pay for its forward capital program
- WDS slightly (10%) reduces its capital requirements for Scarborough
- shareholders get some comfort that divs will not need to be trimmed to keep cash for development projects
- WDS gets some more Japanese friends willing to have a word to an Australian Foreign Minister/PM/Energy minister/treasurer when/if something fundamentally bone-headed is proposed for political reasons (bloody unlikely of course, knowing the rationality and sanity of Aust politicians)
- WDS just demonstrates that it can develop and run its business well
