Maximus ...it clearly states ..."supply constraints" ..not demand constraints ...there are clearly supply constraints ..It's a new industry ..Demand is strong ...and supply of MANY essential parts in many industry's ARE coming under pressure ...We have inflation...an increase in prices ..they're are clear shortages throughout every industry ..look at the unemployment levels 3.5% and this is IN a period of the fastest upward moving interest rates ON HISTORICAL RECORD 12 moves UP in one year. ...YET HUGE DEMAND OUT THERE ..now more people employed than before covid....that is the reason for the Inflation Supply Act...USA and other countries are bouncing back after Covid ...this is a huge wave of spending ..DEMAND IS DRIVING THE ECONOMIES WORLD WIDE .."SUPPLY SHORTAGES are CREATING INFLATION"..MANY BUSINESSES WILL GO BUST BECAUSE OF SUPPLY SHORTAGES AND THE INABILITY TO MEET PRODUCTION LEVELS at a reasonable cost TO SURVIVE ..IE FIXED AND VARIABLE COSTS ARE RISING ..BUT ESSENTIALLY SUPPLY IN SOME CASES IS NOT THERE OR SUPPLY IS NOT THERE AT REALISTIC PRICES. ...SOME INDUSTRIES ARE FACING MATERIAL COSTS INCREASING very RAPIDLY...AND THEY ARE UNABLE TO GET THE PARTS AT ANY SENSIBLE PRICE IN THIS NEW ECONOMIC REALITY ...SOME PRICES OF PARTS HAVE INCREASED faster than at any time in the last 40 years!!! Fixed price contracts are failing and that is an economic realty...AND MANY COMPANIES ON FIXED PRICE CONTRACTS IN THE EV INDUSTRY WILL FAIL..BUT NOT BECAUSE OF DEMAND ..BECAUSE OF THE RISING PRICES OF THEIR SUPPLY AND BADLY FIXED PRICED CONTRACTS.
