That figure could be higher than that also as night shift generally has the ability to haul more as non essential staff are not required to be transported to other levels. 40 tonnes is a figure that has been mentioned before. Also a company with mining personnel with the experience of Peter Hepburn Brown and Mott Ryan doesn't build a 80 000 tonne per annum plant with no idea of how to keep it fed. Sure we may not see 80 000 tones a year from day one but i doubt it will stay that way for long.
