Yeah imagine that. Imagine them having to ' Return ' them on demand right before they needed to ' Cover ' .....and like right before a HUGE re-rate type announcement that nobody saw coming . So their effective return period is almost entirely consumed by an extended trading halt or suspension..... then once lifter ' BOOM ' !! And the insto's who lent them out collect on the BONANZA gains. Geez that would be funny....Talk about ' Lithium Burn ' ....or ' Burned by Lithium ' ....whichever manner of terms you want to couch it in. To have perhaps shorted it and shorted it , to then stand absolutely no gain because you can't crystalize the transfer and close your position.
