I can only assume if they had finished and knew anything that was price sensitive or were relying on an external firm who may not have the same tightness of monitoring the spread of insider trading information based on preliminary thoughts of the results they would be in a trading halt.
i would also assume directors would not be able to trade at this juncture of events.
For the true conspiracists I would assume there would be greater volume going through the markets if they were holding results back so their ‘mates’ could get out of the stock if any bad news existed.
or maybe Andrew has decided I’ll let them all wait until we have a quantifiable form of information because he get assassinated for the use of the wrong adjectives so regularly or trying to over promise and under deliver.
