The equity on the balance sheet is separate to the share price.
equity is the basically what's left when you subtract liabilities from assets. Unless things need to be revalued to market prices, equity should remain the same.
similarly, bad loans will impact equity
if they need to raise capital, then that's a different story
I'm no corporate banker, but I normally see covenants tied to interest cover or EBITDA.
