The market moves on institutions.
No one but retail is worried, institutions have price targets, and they bulldoze anything in their way with heightened volume and aggressive buying/selling. You can use certain indicators to view how/when smart money is affecting the market. RSI, RSI Divergences give you an early picture of when a reversal could be in play.
They're created by the level of power switching from sell side, brought on by smart money. They accumulate at a low whilst maintaining an "oversold" market. Here is an example that you can all go check.
Ideally, if G88 Produced a RSI Divergence in the near-mid future (1w-1m) I'd consider that very bullish, but It'd be after a rough selloff.

Bottom chart is 4HR, RSI divergence isn't visible on the 1D chart, so the divergence could be an Intra-Day pump, to create a higher low, or, it could be invalid.
This is just 2 examples from 1 stock, you can find divergences anyway, and I guarantee if you pair it with market data you will see a switch in the firms sentiment(s).
