It has been commented on here before and I agree that financiers,including NAIF (particularly NAIF) may be waiting for this current drilling to be included in the mining plan and DFS and push the base mine life out to 10 - 12 years from the current 8.5 years.
NAIF may like to see a 10 year mine life before they chuck in their money in.
If I recall correctly, the capital payback period in the DFS is about 3.5 years so should not be a problem for NAIF and other financiers either way.
