Race already has one partner for the proposed AML trial - Astex/Otsuka. This is on the presentation since they are who will be supplying ASTX727.
While it is possible they will be funding one of the new AML trials, for the EMD AML trial (RAC-006) all they contributed was supply of the drug. Negotiating this supply agreement took more than 12 months and involved lawyers on three continents doing what lawyers do in spades. I would not be surprised if the limiting factor in getting the new RAC-009 underway will be updating the ASTX727 supply agreement with Astex/Otsuka.
