Also the CAMI change, whilst positive, doesnt necessarily pave the way for issuance of the ML. For that, we need a new decree from the Minister of Mines. Once thats issued then sure, the new CAMI management comes into play, and hopefully that earlier blockage point may be removed, but for now the ball is well and truly in the MoM's court.

I hope we are making all efforts to engage with the MoM on this, previously it had been mentioned that AVZ was unable to get any facetime with her. Some may remember the somewhat hostile letter we sent to her after she unlawfully cancelled our ML decree. Might not have a great relationship there. Probably manageable but one concern i do have is regarding the reasons put forward in the official cancelation of that decree - namely that the disputes between Dathcom shareholders were holding the Project hostage. Obviously this isn't a legitimate reason to block the PE issuance under the Mining Code, however thats the reason that was officially provided. So now would the MoM need to show progress has been made to resolve that issue before reissuing a new decree? Because there has clearly been no progress on that, Cominiere is if anything even more intractable and our ICC cases ongoing against both (prospective) partners in Cominiere and Zijin.

food for thought, but I wonder if the MoM has dug herself into a bit of a hole by supporting that flawed argument of Cominiere and CAMI as the grounds for cancelation of the licence
