Of course, Satan knows God exists but has no faith in God being the rewarder of the faithful. In contrast, Hebrews chapter 11 not only defines faith but it also lists numerous examples of how it has been displayed through endurance in acts of faith. In chapter 12 Paul urges the Christians to which he wrote along with men and women of faith today to learn from Jesus and ''not get tired and give up''.

(Hebrews 12:1-3) So, then, because we have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also throw off every weight and the sin that easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 as we look intently at the Chief Agent and Perfecter of our faith, Jesus. For the joy that was set before him he endured a torture stake, despising shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Indeed, consider closely the one who has endured such hostile speech from sinners against their own interests, so that you may not get tired and give up.

The ''sin that easily entangles us'' is the loss of faith. There is a huge gap between knowing what the right thing is to do and actually continuing to do it. It requires an enduring strong faith.

Now you are moving the goalposts. The issue, depending on which verses you run with, is the morality of eternal damnation or the death penalty being imposed for failing the given criteria for salvation, to believe what you are told to believe in order to be 'saved.'

Is that moral? Is it just? Is it love?
