HA sorry CR - this message was for 78 - as earlier in the thread he had provided the offer of assistance with CFD's for anyone interested - so I thought I would share my story and current trading strategy. 78 happy to hear from you if the offer is still available!!
That's all! Only recently opened an account (site recommended by a mate). Thanks for your comments - some food for thought.
Just a couple of things regarding your post? - I think there's a time and place for LT CFD trading. Provided time frames are established along with sound technical analysis, there could well be certain stocks at the right time for LT CFD trading. - I'm happy to take advice from others - provided it makes sense to me and that I use it along with my own research. - I will only open a CFD with GSL - always. Also never move my stop loss if the trade goes against me. - My Westfield position is still open (in fact I have plenty of room to move at this stage). I tend to be pretty conservative in setting my stop loss when I open a trade - anywhere from 10-30% from the open price. Provided my risk is lower then the expected reward (expected close price) then I'm happy to take the trade. - Yeah not a huge fan of property either - however happy to trade on an industry/sector leading stock. - I agree CFD's can be dangerous. Without GSL and money management - an account can be wiped out pretty quickly.
