Interesting. Obviously not totally appropriate to compare underground mining of coal to the PGE deposit at Julimar.
The grades speak for themselves. It is why companies aren't falling over themselves to buy it. Don't get me wrong, amazing geology, lots of contained metal, just within an almighty large volume = low grade. The near surface oxide material is potentially interesting, but too small.
Perhaps there are discrete higher-grade domains that have been smoothed out in the mega go-for-tonnes model. Good enough for underground mining?
