I`t went the other way, pretty rare but it happens, for me personally a lot of time lost, but had to see it out to the gap one way or the other...a bullish wave 3 doesn't act like this at this point so I'm no longer interested in the TA on this one as a potential wave 3 breakout...the gap on vol (very different to a retrace or down trend) has defined upper resistance and the downside range now imo.
