I tend to think the same way; what is the production profile and price environment that underwrites the current/future valuation? However the sp has never tacked to the fundamentals for various reason which I won't go into now. What is more important are the actuals.
In Oct '22 the sp was ranging between $5.00-$5.50 or similar. At that time P580 was the run rate give or take. Spot Sc6 was $7.8k. Now spot is ~$3.4k and we are doing close to P680 even without P680 if you know what I mean. Now our sp ranged between $5.00-$5.40.
Hence, there is a disconnect and amongst other factors I believe PLS will be in for a significant correction. If sc prices can hold its a different story but they haven't.
