Pretty advanced self observation amd something you can work with. For me its a struggle with discipline, so I built software (using chatgpt to program it) to automate everything in my discretionary trading. It calculates my position sizing based on entry price, stop loss and risk per trade. It logs everything for analytics (im running a monte carlo simulation which gets more refined as more data is available), and a few other things like provide warnings or suggestions based on my rules.
that initial honesty with yourself over something you've probably tried to ignore can be changed into a strength or even an edge i think.
