In 1948 Palestinian fled and were expelled from Israel.
A few years later, in 1952 Israel would enact its Nationality Law, which “barred the exiled Arab population from returning to the land as nationals,” making essentially stateless the majority of Palestinian Arabs.

What upsets me most about this Israel/Palestine situation is when the oppressed become the oppressor.
