In 1948 Palestinian fled and were expelled from Israel.

A few years later, in 1952 Israel would enact its Nationality Law, which “barred the exiled Arab population from returning to the land as nationals,” making essentially stateless the majority of Palestinian Arabs.

Palestinians are the world’s longest-suffering group of refugees in the post-WWII era.

Descendants of Palestinians originally affected by the 1948 and subsequent wars. Currently there are around 5 million Palestinians stateless and living as refugees.
Neighborhood bully been driven out of every land
He's wandered the earth an exiled man
Seen his family scattered, people hounded and torn
He's always on trial for just being born

What upsets me most about this Israel/Palestine situation is when the oppressed become the oppressor.
