I might be an idiot, but why can't CFU be classified as a renewable technology anyway?

Methane is a normal bi-product of the decomposition of organic compounds - you've heard of bio-gas - and is commonly produced at sewerage plants with methane digestors, like Woodmans Point in WA.

Tell me, why isn't a technology that produces electricity from biogas not renewable?
