You have sold an investment property and used funds to put into nxm rather than pay down yr mortgage, set up a smsf and i presume transfered yr retirement savings into it to buy nxm. You have 2.5 million units in nxm and yes money in other specs as you have publically stated.
Nxm is a speculative play. R u prepared to lose everything?? Have u heard of diversification and money management? Yet u state its yr first investment. Crazy stuff. I hope yr smsf trust deed allows u to do all this. If not the ATO will be very interested in you. A salutory lesson to all of us especially novice first timers. Unfortunately i think greed has overtaken you. For yr sake i hope it works out but this could be analogous now to either red or black at the crown casino. 50/50 punts with life/ retirement savings is not a good trade. Best of luck dannyboy
