Bl**dy hell. If there's any sliver of silver lining here its this outpouring of grief is actually lovely and that we are all real people with real lives behind our handles.
What a tragedy. If anyone deserved to see RAC's product realised, ADN's first kaolin ship, NVA's first bar poured it was Wombat. Life is desperately unfair sometimes. All I know of him was his written word but what a consummate gent, this is weirdly affecting and sad for someone I never knew.
Not overly spiritual but I really hope for the man behind Wombat he's joined with the universe now and is updating the cosmos on star formation rates or galactic mergers or something similarly appropriate.
