But eventually, the elites' prosperity partly depends on the hoi polloi having the ability to keep purchasing goods and services (preferably more each year). So at some stage, travel demand per capita will decrease. The Ponzi scheme of high immigration may help to partly arrest this trend, but immigrants impost costs on society and age just as we do.
