With 10m to 30m thicknesses of some of the coal seams (and rising toward the surface) maybe CTP should approach the Brisbane City Council to buy/lease their tunnelling machine
to remove the coal from these depths when they have finished the airport tunnel link.

It would just need to be electrically modified to comply with coal mining reg's, but a round hole is structurally stronger than a a square one ( as with longwall). With that tonnage of coal , just drill in a grid pattern and leave stopes.

    Sounds too simple doesn't it.

Think outside the square for initial capital return which this company needs in the near future. SP will also rise with production so sell the near surface coal to the RIO BMA & Vvale's of this world to get things rolling.

Let's face it there is so much coal there it can be used for as many diversified purposes as you wish , but at the moment we need cash flow.

Put a strategic growth plan in place other than just exploration , for the long term benefit of shareholders.

Best wishes to other CTP holders suffering pain.

My retirement is about 10 years away (I hope) so what is the 10 Year plan JH ???
