They're not allowed to make any announcement about a deal that they might be "working on". Same logic as the SVM deal that didn't happen. Out of nowhere, they announced that the offer was made, with complete details about it. That didn't happen overnight, and they didn't announce that they were working with SVM for the deal .
Same logic would apply to any new deal they might be looking at, plus the fact that they've been prevented from doing that because of the exclusivity period with SVM. That only ended 2 weeks ago.
not saying that they ARE working on a new deal with another party, but even if they were you'd have to expect it to take some time before they could announce anything about it.
In the meantime, go ahead and enjoy cheap CLA shares. Use this opportunity to lower your average if you have the means to do so. DISCLAIMER: This is NOT financial advice.
