One thing to bear in mind with DM flying to California is that this is the first time that results are due whilst he’s been (interim) executive director… so the fact that he is there in and of itself really might not mean much, it could just be that the executive director always flys out at this stage and in previous years it was the Drs instead.
However, it’s hard not to be tempted by the big beams that are plastered on all their faces.
I’m not expecting the results to come out until late September, based on the timeline that was communicated for analysis of PL3 (before the sudden TH) and on the time taken for PL2.
Hopefully this upwards trajectory will continue between now and then, with some pull backs inevitable along the way
