    4. A newly installed NATO allied government "decides" to join NATO

    No conflict of interests there at all.

    Ukraine is a prime example of that strategy. But it failed. And now EU/US taxpayers are paying for a war in a country that most of them can't even point out on a map. While the military industrial complex and various global financial institutions profit on the destruction of Ukrainian cities and deaths of Ukrainians, that are a direct result of NATO's predatory interventionist tactics.
