I cannot believe that some are implying that it would be OK for Mali government to renegotiate ownership structure from potential 20% gov to up to 35% government.
Any changes should only apply to future projects pre-permitting stage.
A change to capital structures post permitting stage would send a clear message to the market that Mali is not a suitable location to invest and impact future capital inflows.
I hope our management is crystal clear on no change to capital structures during discussions with government.
