Telsa would have been trying to play hardball and negotiate in their favour which wouldn't have been necessarily the best deal for Core. I would have to agree with @elyk1981 that the BEOT would have already run a fine tooth comb over this with their legal teams before committing $100M. Perhaps the discount for the raising? Retail always the last to know.
It does show how desperate Telsa are for lithium. I believe Tesla want to revisit negotiations but are just using these strong arm tactics to bully their way back in. Just my thoughts...
Elon after considering buying a Tesla, the answer is now no for me!!!!!! I will look at another brand when the time comes.
