I picked up on that as well Reiner, it is interesting, but I've seen it regularly reported now in the Malian mining press, even today.

I've read quite a few articles in the last couple of weeks from African mining journals, and they almost all mention Leo and Firefinch together as joint owners in Goulamina, even today. It continues to surprise me. And in these article there is almost no mention of Ganfeng.

It would seem that in Mali they continue to see little difference between the 2 companies, so I'm wondering about the underlying corporate registrations (or structure) for these companies in Mali, and how it is recorded on the Malian government bureaucratic documents.

Do those regulatory documents still contain some kind of in-country corporate link, which is why the Malian reporters continue to still refer to them together, even when the African journals just talk about Goulamina only, they still (often) continue to mention Firefinch as an owner, or partner.

It's very interesting to consider the potential difference, that the Malians seem to have of the relationship between the 2 companies compared to what it's perceived as in Australia. From what I've read they seem to have a different perspective to us completely, even today. I'm still wondering why.
