    When you refer to ore, I'm assuming you a referring to lepaedolite.

    I'm not sure there is oversupply issues, I would say supply/demand is balanced atm, hence the drop in lithium prices. However, I believe many have underestimated China's willingness/desperation to tap lepaedolite resources, but they can see what's coming, meaning there's a whole raft of new ex-China customers vying for the same material China imports, as rest of world comes online.

    Its also important to note, a good lepaedolite resource might have 2% lithium content, and if that was the case, a chem converter would need somewhere between 21 and 25kt of that feedstock to produce 1 tonne of something that resembles battery grade lithium, which roughly equates to ~3 x feedstock and waste relative to SC6%. A very toxic, environmentally damaging move, but hey, that's China's call, they own it...
