Sure, definitely some pedantry on my part.
But, there's a long term imbalance in supply:demand.
Maintaining a policy that discriminates against onshore gas production (except Waitsia/Beach) is NOT going to increase supply.
Removing that policy may increase supply.
Replacing that policy may increase supply.
Maintaining that policy will definitely not.
WA is not the only market on earth, and it's not the option companies have for investment - oil and gas or otherwise.
