I think 'someone' will acquire 4DS Memory and prevent results being released. I just don't think it will be WD. I don't see how WD can afford to compete with the bigger fish with the balance sheet they currently have. This will be an auction scenario, none of the majors are going to want to lose their market share to a company holding this sort of tech (if it is as advanced as we think it will be). This will be a 'must have' technology and they will want to secure it at any cost. Just remember the size of the market we are targeting. It boggles my mind to think about the possibilities.

My understanding is that WD will have an opportunity to 'better' the highest offer made.
