Just saw an article on Simply Wall St attacking EDV says its growth perspective is weak thus P/E at 19 is too high... what on earth do they expect? Coca-Cola shares exists in the NYSE since 1985 and its share price grows every year, what growth do you expect the coke company to give you? to give you drug and make you high? By the way Coca-Cola today's share price is $60.95 at P/E of 26.85. Warren Buffet has been a shareholder of the Coke company since forever.

Liquor stores are always good business no matter the economic environment good or bad... that is what I know. And that is why it is in the "Defensive" shares category. EDV's profit after tax has gone up almost 7% compare to last year, if that is not a growth what is?
