    Bullrush,

As you are probably aware the R&D tax benefit is an annual refund based on R&D spend for the previous financial year. Its usually done in Q3 / Q4 based on BITs usual filings however it was brought forward to Oct last year probably due to the dire financial situation at the time. Not sure when they will get around to filing out the paperwork this year as the finances are okay at the moment and hopefully they are fully occupied on more important things.

Regarding your comments on additional grants, to the best of my knowledge they haven't received any other grants since the $200k grant for C-Test from the ACT govt back in May 2005. Sadly that was 18 years ago and still waiting to hear what happened to Biotron's C-Test program.

Here are the grants that I'm aware of:

2002 Oct - $414,000 Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage Grant
2003 Nov - $250,000 Biotechnology Innovation Fund (BIF) grant
2004 Jan - $1,660,000 Commonwealth Govt R&D Start Program Grant
    2005 May - $200,000 C-Test grant by ACT govt

Its been a long time and I may have nodded off during some of it so I may have missed some. Are you aware of other more recent grants?
