There is a lot of truth in what you say.

The experts, financial behaviorists etc, say that 'retail' investors have a tendency to sell winners and feed losers. So we sell the best performing stocks and end up with the lesser performers. The more that I read the experts the more I recognise myself. When I study my own trading record I see the same patterns over and over again. WBC feels cheap at $21- I feel safe holding it. I bought a better performing bank at around $100 but it felt 'fully priced' and so I took profits early.

Somehow, I have ended up doing pretty well- but perhaps mug luck more than anything else. My trading record is weird- dominated by a dozen or so stocks that over time keep falling in value- yet I keep taking profits on them.

    Anyway, rambling over.

    Good luck holders.
