Some will be very bad, that’s a given.

But do you believe that this is something that has only recently begun to happen?

Do you believe that these bushfires are increasing or perhaps they are becoming more intense than 50-100 or 150 years ago?

Have you been aware of the increasing regulations over the last 30-50 years, were well meaning people and governments have locked up Crown Lands, National Parks and restricted private property owners in an effort to protect the flora and fauna?

Yes, it has become apparent over the last 10-20 years that we need to manage as opposed to Locking Up land but there’s still a lot of neglected bush land that hasn’t seen a fire for decades.
There’s still a backlog of bushland that needs hazard reduction burns (owing to the restrictions imposed by the well meaning types) and this will be a problem for a long time to come.

Bushfires are just a part of life for those who live outside of the metropolitan areas, it might be a very scary thing for those who rarely go outside the areas with street lighting but it’s just a fact of life for most of us who live rural or remote (of course it’s still scary but relatively scary common).

No fire is good if it’s heading in your direction by the way.
See, I told you it was guaranteed.

Any reports on how any of them started, Scotty?

How many have been reported as starting due to MMCO2?
