I have no idea what a flat wart is. In the distant past, I have got rid of a couple of warts, by simply digging out the roots, with tweezers - all a bit messy, and no need to do it in one operation.
I once had a wart, a bit below the ankle, and I accidentally knocked it against something once, and the wart was "knocked out", and was simply hanging there - T removed it, and it never grew back.
lots of tips on the net, and indeed, it could be that my method of picking away at the roots, might not be such a good idea - but it did work for me
