I have taken your kind advice and now put stop losses on a number of my shares.
This does feel reassuring, if only I had done this before.
Oh well, we live and learn.I am getting a bit old though, I should have learned by now.
The thing that confuses me, among many others
Is that you cannot sell a share if you have an order in or a stop loss?
Sadly, my mind works in mysterious ways though.
Thank you for the encouragement on the stop losses.
