Nothing I wrote in my facts was associated 'within minutes of opening', yet all your responses are in relation to that.
Why do you care so much what happens in the first few minutes of resumption of trading? Longs (including index funds) don't need to sell within minutes of opening, nor do the shorts.
Shorts should be of the least fundamental concern to AVZ and shareholders.
