Hype and it counts for nothing. In fact whenever this happens, it usually swings back the other way and becomes extreme fear. Buyers sit on the sidelines, people in profit try to exit.
It's not actually a reflection on the company, it's a reflection of the mentality of the herd getting emotional about a stock. News will break the emotions.
