If I sell the lot and say take a 60% knock............This loss will no doubt be carried forward until a day when I will need it to offset gains. I cannot buy them back as they will not sell to me as they (QSuper) are the holders of IHL in my name and that is not on offer. I can sell and proceeds of that sale goes back into my self-invest acc which I can use to buy other shares with. I wanted to hold for a better day but my days are numbered now.

I also hold IHL shares with Commsec in a private acc so I have no issues with that batch as I will only need to open a Commsec international trading acc and all is good to go
