Rather horrible and dismal night with global markets.
In Europe, only the FTSE saw any green - up just 13 points. DAX down .7% and the CAC down .4%.
In the UK, there are predictions that the Bank of England will end cycle of interest hikes at its September meeting.
In the US, the DOW fell 373 points, The NASDAQ Biotech Index fell 40 points. The NASDAQ Composite fell 257 points and the Russell small cap index fell 23 points.
US Fed made comments that interest rates will be held higher for much longer - the markets basically had a cow on those comments.
Interesting comments on AI - is the current rise in AI a "bubble" like the 1991's Tech bubble? Guess time will tell.
ASX could tumble 100 points today :-(
