The interesting question is ... what next?

Finally there is proof that the fundamental idea is reproduceable in a commercial manufacturing environment, does it need to be taken further? If somebody is happy enough with it as it stands, this may all wrap up very quickly. Alternatively, if there is seen to be good value in proving the ongoing scaling of the chip (to say 22Nm), or a mix of different characteristics for multiple licences, then we may be here for another 12-18 months. I bet IMEC will be sponsoring the second approach ...

Not that I am concerned about that - I checked last night - purchased my first 4DS share in 2016, so suddenly everything feels like it is happening in a rush!
