GT1 - Megathread, page-933

I think that's the wrong question as it creates the impression you need some huge number like 50Mt or 100Mt+ in order for the economics to work and get into production. Current drilling hasn't yet indicated likely large increases in the JORC. It is however going to move a lot of Root Bay into indicated. Existing Canadian mining rules mean big projects will take several years longer to get into production than small projects as they seek both provincial and national level approvals. An operation mining 1Mt to 1.5Mt/yr of ore (per site) and has the potential to be very profitable at something close to current Spod prices. This more modest size is suited to 10-30Mt JORC - what GT1 has found.

The better two questions are:
1. Does GT1 have existing ore bodies capable of providing circa 1Mt+ for circa 8-10 years minimum so a mining concentrator could be established with future mining beyond 10 years either being fed by deposits that GT1 then discover or someone else finds?
2. Does it seem likely that the tenements GT1 have will contain additional commercial lithium deposits?
3. Does it seem likely that at least one of the nearby Ontario tenements will contain lithium that will need concentration?

Those answers are IMO Just (* 2), Yes and Yes.
