Going private means an end to the contnuous disclosure obligations imposed by ASX regs that can totally disrupt the share price depending on how they are accepted by the market.
No more public disclosures of changes to all the seed holdings, the remuneration arrangements, FUM and all theother matters that can result in market mis-pricing. Large family businesses have succesfully operated on this basis for decades, usually only going public if they want to cahs out some/all of the embedded value in the business.
PTM was a private company from 1995 to the early 2000s until it was listed giving myself and others here, a chance to become shareholders. It has been a good ride for trading highs and lows, but it is now time to de-list in my opinion.
Cannot imagine the culture will fit any existing funds management or M&A outfit.
