I come from a finance background, so market inefficiency nothing new to me - volumes have been written on it in finance academia. We can't really take issue with investors for not knowing about OCC. Its business achievements are quite simply unknown by the vast majority of investors. I subscribe to one of the best non main-stream Aussie brokers that cover small capped stocks. Never once have they covered OCC (perhaps I should flag them).

What puzzles me is that investors who DO KNOW OCC's business progression would sell here? OCC was trading $0.395 before it announced its recent Appendix 4C, in which it clarified sales that frankly blew through anyone's expectations, even an apparent ramper like me , it told us that Henry Schein was adding Striate to its ACE subsidiary, not unlike BioHorizons and then told investors those massively ballooning sales figures pretty much exclude EMA sales figures, which should now commence properly after certification and add to those accelerating sales increases.

What sort of rational investor sells at $0.37 in full knowledge of that positive news?

OCC is, sadly for us as holders, a very good example of market irrationality and inefficiency - my old favourites being a massive spike in Nintendo shares many years ago on the Pokemon craze, until the company reminded everyone it didn't own the rights; and the massive rise of a pretty much bankrupt Chinese ADR listing in the US during COVID, that had the ticker ZOOM (I kid you not it rallied some 2000% before the SEC stepped in).
