on the contrary, depend on whether it’s a good look for 4DS to be working with HGST. 4DS had major issues last year and now WD is facing major lawsuits over the same issues 4DS had — failing disks. Both collaborators seem to have similar issues. even if 4DS becomes commercialised, they’d have to shake off the bad image of WD and the trust issues from major customers.
