Was thinking EFT too but they aren't in a halt.
AAPT seems the mostly likely given the news articles today, and actually picking up AAPT's customer base would push them comfortably to their stated 15% market share target.
Big question for me is how they would sustain the AAPT pricing. AAPT's plans are cheaper/better value than the equivalent iiNet plans by a significant margin. Unless its found that AAPT users don't use a high proportion of their allotted quotas I can't see how iiNet could maintain margins with the AAPT offerings.
Needless to say if/when an acquisition is announced I'll be crunching the numbers furiously. ;)
Other potential targets could include Adam, Exetel (unlikely), Internode (unlikely), Amnet (nope, ASX:AMM is not halted), and Spin/Comcen.
