They should have people in a room all year thinking up 8-10 initiatives of what they plan to announce each financial year, outside results to excite the markets. This safe guards bad results, so they pull the “dividend” lever when it’s underwhelming fy results, but also surges the sp on high results and pushes the sp $1-2 that very day (which it has on previous yearly announcements). exactly! If the senior leaders and CEO can give proper guidelines, they must step down. Stop wasting cash to pay themselves.
