    H Scott and others,
I recall speaking to Leon Pretorius at a Cairns or Port Douglas gathering about 14-years ago after he had been instrumental in getting shareholders to agree changes to the Icon (ASX: III) Board that held the Mt Carbine project. He told me at the time about the optical sorting the Roche Brothers had used to separate the white quartz vein material that hosted the tungsten mineralisation from the gangue or barren rock.
I note EQR mention this on their website 'Historically, ore sorting was successfully used at Mt Carbine between 1973 and 1986, and there are now major advances in the type and efficiency of ore sorters since they were last used at Mt Carbine".
XRT ore sorting was tested and implemented at Mt Carbine more than a decade when the Company was CNQ, before the Company became SEI and now EQR.
Ore-sorting in one form or another has been used for +50-years in diamond (X-ray), uranium (radiometric), etc sorting and is nothing special or unique. It is simply another one of several tools available to make low-grade deposits more viable.
